THATCHER — Eastern Arizona College’s Symphony Orchestra will present Classical Pop(s)-pourri Rhythmical Pops on Wednesday, Feb. 22, at 7:30 p.m., in the EAC Activities Center – Lee Little Theater. Admission to the concert is free.
“This traditional pop concert will appeal to traditional classical music lovers,” said Franklin Alvarez, EAC orchestra director. “And the synthetic jazz, techno and Latin beats we are incorporating into the mix will thrill the more alternative classical fans.”
The program will include music from Mozart, Maurice Ravel, Karl Jenkins, Vaclav Nelhybel and more.
