THATCHER – The entire community is invited to attend Eastern Arizona College’s Constitution Day celebration at 11 a.m., Thursday, Sept. 29, in the college’s Activities Center – Lee Little Theater. The free event, sponsored by the Associated Students of Eastern Arizona College (ASEAC), will feature Judge Gary Griffith.

“The presentation is intended to keep our students connected to the Constitution of the United States of America,” Dr. Gary Sorensen, EAC’s Dean of Students and ASEAC Adviser, said. “We feel it’s important to demonstrate to our students the importance of the Constitution to our democracy. That’s why, each year at this time, we bring an expert in the study of the Constitution on campus to discuss it.”

“This year, we are pleased to bring local judge and EAC adjunct instructor Gary Griffith to the stage and hear his thoughts about our Constitution,” he said.
