THATCHER — Eastern Arizona College’s English Department invites the public to attend a public reading EAC’s literary magazine, 2017 Voice, on Wednesday, April 26, at 5 p.m., in the Activities Center – Gila Galiuro Room. Admission is free.

The creative works range from funny–to deeply moving–to experimental, and includes poetry, creative and non-fiction writing. Free Copies of the 2017 Voice will be distributed at the event.

“Students and community members who attend can gain a taste of the diverse types of writing classes available through EAC’s creative writing program,” said English instructor and Voice magazine editor, Laura David.

“Past attendees to Voice readings have been surprised and impressed by the quality of the writing and some have been inspired to enroll in EAC’s creative writing classes themselves,” David said.
