THATCHER — Eastern Arizona College’s Music Department is excited to welcome its first German piano to campus – a Ritmüller studio piano.

Ritmüller has set a standard of musical excellence since the name was established in Germany in 1795. Under the auspices of the Pearl River Piano Group, the brand has been elevated to an exciting new level of quality and musical virtuosity.

The piano currently resides in the office of Chase Moore, EAC’s director of musical theatre, and is used for instruction, practice and small performances.

“It is an honor to welcome this new German-made instrument to our campus here in the Gila Valley,” Moore said. “The robust sound, feather action and stylish design are just what our students need to help them enhance their studies as performers.”
