Colorado Springs, CO – The NJCAA has announced the 2017-18 Academic Teams of the Year with 6 programs at Eastern Arizona College earning  recognition of achieving the highest GPA in their respective sport.

Every year the NJCAA recognizes teams and individual athletes that maintain a GPA over 3.0.

Athletic Director Jim Bagnall was extremely satisfied with these student athletes. “We are very proud of our student-athletes and teams that excel in the classroom and in competition.  It takes discipline and hard work to be successful in both.  One of our goals is to prepare our students to move on to the next level of education and playing opportunities.  I believe that our coaches, counselors, and Student Learning Center have done a very good job in these two areas.”
