On Saturday, February 2, 2019, the EAC Discovery Park Campus will host the 2019 “UnConference – Global Citizens in STEM” in conjunction with the Arizona Science Teachers Association (ASTA), the AZ Association of Teachers of Mathematics (AATN) and the AZ Technology in Education Association (AZTEA). The event will be shared in multiple Locations around the state!
The “Unconference – Global Citizens in STEM” is directed by teachers for teachers, as a participant-driven meeting. The UnConference will begin with a panel of Keynote speakers and then participants will generate break-out session topics that are relevant to our region and needs. The UnConference is open to all teachers and administrators, especially of STEM education; Science, Technology, Engineering and Math and all grade levels. The Eastern Arizona Science Initiative (EASI) will sponsor the $15 registration fee for up to 40 participants from Graham and Greenlee Counties. Light refreshments will be served.
