Cipriano “Cipi” M. Frasquillo, age 82, a former resident of Clifton and Morenci, Arizona, returned to his heavenly home, Tuesday, May 9, 2017, at Haven of Safford, in Safford, Arizona.

Cipi was born in Morenci, Arizona, on November 25, 1934, to Estephana Miranda and Neuponuseno Frasquillo and was the third youngest of 18 children. Cipi attended school through the seventh grade. He left school to go to work to help support his mother and siblings. Cipi married and subsequently divorced Dolores Melendez (1955-1971) and together they had five children.

As Cipi was working and raising his children, he met and fell in love with the woman he would call “Lady”, Dolores “Bobby” Peralta. They began their beautiful life together, as a blended family, on August 12, 1974 and on May 10, 2012 they were married in the Catholic church. Together, they worked hard, supported their children, enjoyed time with family and friends camping, hunting and fishing, attended every sporting event, musical event, community event and, they loved each other with their whole heart and soul.

On December 1, 1996, Cipi retired from Phelps Dodge Morenci Mine (July 20, 1956 – December 1, 1996), where he had worked as a truck driver and truck shop maintenance man. He continued to work, in his community, as a gardener for many people and shared his time, talent and treasure with his church, Sacred Heart, and with the “Community Helpers” and “Community Fundraisers”, or wherever else someone was in need. Cipi never met a stranger. He had a friendly, giving heart and was always ready to lend a hand.
