Chandler James Linford, age 22, of Thatcher, entered into eternal life Tuesday morning, February 28, 2017, following a tragic automobile accident.
Chandler was born in Safford on January 22, 1995, to James and Kaylene Linford. Chandler graduated from Thatcher High School in 2013 and went on to attend Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff before moving back home to live in Safford with his twin brother Tyler. Chandler was soft-spoken, gentle, and friendly to everyone, but was also fiercely protective of his family and friends. He loved being an uncle and spending time with his family. Chandler loved to travel and be at the beach with his friends. He also loved to go for long drives in his car.
Chandler is survived by: his parents, Jim and Kaylene; his sister Chantelle; and his two brothers, Jaren and Tyler; as well as their spouses and children.
Chandler’s life will be commemorated Monday morning, March 6, 2017, at 10:00 a.m., at Vining Funeral Home’s “Chapel of the Valley,” by Shawn Turley of the Thatcher Sixth Ward. Concluding services will follow in the Thatcher Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Monday morning from 9:00 a.m. until service time at 10:00 a.m., also at the funeral home.
