Brian Gallegos

Brian Gallegos, of Safford, entered into eternal rest Sunday afternoon, July 8, 2018, at his residence with his father, Eddie Gallegos, at his side. Brian was 50.

Edward Brian Gallegos was born September 2, 1967, in Safford, to Edward “Eddie” and Sarah Colvin Gallegos. Brian was a special needs child who touched the lives of many. His family wouldn’t want him to be any other way. He was quite the jokester and had such an amazing character about him.

Brian was the first special needs child to graduate from Safford High School. He excelled in track in the Special Olympics. Brian also enjoyed bowling and loved to hit the pins with the bowling ball.

Brian was adored by his family and friends and will be missed greatly.

Brian is survived by: his father, Edward “Eddie” Gallegos; a sister Lori Ann; his brother, Cary Paul (Gloria); and numerous nieces and nephews.

Brain was predeceased by: his mother, Sarah Colvin Gallegos.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Brian will be celebrated Friday, July 13, 2018, at 10:00 a.m., at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church by Rev. Nicodemus Shaghel. Committal will follow in the Safford Cemetery.

A rosary will be prayed for Brian Friday, July 13, 2018, at 9:00 a.m., at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church by Deacon Carl Vessels.

Family will receive friends Friday morning, July 13, 2018, from 8:00 a.m. until 9:00 a.m., also at the church.
