ASEAC Invites Community to Meet the Monsters

By Emily Christensen

THATCHER, Ariz.—The Associated Students of Eastern Arizona College (ASEAC) is hosting a Meet the Monsters social and barbeque from 4-6 p.m., on Friday, Sept. 21, at the North Campus Recreation Area.

This will be a chance for students, faculty, and community members to come out and meet the EAC Football and Volleyball teams! ASEAC will be providing limited, free food to students and the community.

ASEAC President, Dallin Crandell, says, “Come on out and meet the monsters! It’s a great opportunity to meet our amazing Gila Monster football and volleyball teams! Games, food, and prizes too.”

Along with socializing with the teams and having hot dogs, there will also be a rubber duck raffle! Participants pay $2 a duck; if they win, they receive half the pot! The other half will go to the ASEAC Ribbon Club, that helps put on fundraisers for the community. This event is free and open to the public.
