Albert “Mayson” Schultz

Albert “Mayson” Schultz lost his battle with cancer on May 28, 2017. He was born October 16, 1945 in Long Beach, CA to Albert Mayson & Candace Johnson Schultz.

Mayson was a wonderful husband, father & friend. Most knew him from A-1 Autos where he has been selling cars for over 20 years. Mayson is survived by his wife of 30 years, Kaycee, his children Lisa (Morris) Jackson of Nacogdoches, TX, Scott Schultz of Yuma, AZ, Chase (Jen) Ward, of Mesa, AZ, Chelsea (Steve) Barber, of Gilbert, AZ, & Christian (Kenzie) Schultz, of Laveen, AZ. Mayson had 12 grandchildren whom he loved dearly: Jay & Trey Jackson, AJ Rhodes, Kaylie & Ryder Schultz, Dylan Ward, Bella & Stephen Jr Barber, and Rayce, Broc, Payge & Grayson Schultz.

Mayson will be missed by all but we are thankful he is now in a better place.

Mayson’s celebration of life will be Friday, June 9th at 2pm at New Life City Church, 3754 S. Hwy 191, Safford. Hawaiian shirts, T’s, shorts or anything fun to wear is the requested attire by Mayson! Ball caps too! We would love for you to write down a memory you have of Mayson & put it in our memory jar at his celebration. We will cherish them forever.

Mayson will have no graveside service, just the celebration of his life at his church. In lieu of flowers or plants, (Mayson DESPISED yard work!), please make a donation to New Life City Church in his name.

Arrangements are under the direction of McDougal’s Caldwell Funeral Chapel and Gila Valley Crematory. Online condolences may be extended at www.caldwellfuneralchapel.com.
